Greetings, Magdalena! Here is a list of some Finnish metal bands, that in my opinion are not internationally very well known. You might recognize some of these, but hopefully the list has some new names also.- Thy Serpent (some sort of dark metal, band currently not very active)- Domination Black (something called horror metal)- Saattue (doom/death metal, sung in Finnish)- Kivimetsän Druidi (fantasy metal, a bit corny but ambitious)- Sotajumala (Wargod in English, death metal)- Brymir (folk/melodic metal)- The Zombie (pretty generic name, but decent death metal)

I hadn't heard of any of those bands. Thank you very much for you time, I will share them with the rest of the music-hungry metalheads around here who of course respect Finnish metal as much as I do.Be proud of yourselves, much of the finest metal comes from Finland.
Sure, no problem. I have no idea of the status of metal scene in Uruguay, if there is such a thing, so can you please recommend some good bands from your country? The closest metal music thing from your part of the globe that I'm familiar with, is Matriarch, which was a female group from Puerto Rico.

They are all good but I liked Catamenia and Brymir the most. If I were to visit Finland, which would be the best season to see some of the less known local bands? And is there a city where metal bands play the most?
